I am writing behalf of my sister. She is currently teaching at a high school. She is very good at house work and at her job. She has been raised in a sikh family. Thus, it is very important for us that she marries to a sikh person. We greatly respect our religion. Only non-drinking, vegetarian, and non-smoking sikh guys contact.
I was born and raised in New Jersey. I have a master's degree in special education and have been working as a teacher for 5 years now. Teaching has it's challenges but it's been an amazing ride so far.
My family is very important to me. I have a large extended family here in NJ and grew up with many cousins close by. There is nothing like the warm energy a house full of family brings.
I am a very straightforward person- a realist at heart. I am kind and honest. I prefer to have a tight-knit group of friends that are more like my family.
Although I prefer to be in my comfort zone, at home or with a small group of friends, I do enjoy the occasional adventurous outing. My most recent adventure was a white water rafting trip on the Delaware.
I value the principles of Sikhi and try to carry them with me always. I enjoy doing kirtan and traveling. In my free time I enjoy being sarcastic, catching up on all my DVRed shows, and spending time with the people I love (in that order).
Looking for someone with a witty sense of humor and a kind heart. Those are non-negotiable. :)
I am making this profile for my sister. She has completed her bachelor's of arts degree in psychology and is now working as an English tutor and is pursuing a career in health. Arshdeep is family oriented, very social, and has a caring nature. Our family moved from Punjab to the United States in 2000 and have been living here since.
My son is a teaching / academician with a Ph.D degree working in government sector. He is currently living in Sacramento. We come from an upper middle class, nuclear family background with moderate values.
